It is an American supernatural horror film based on the 1986 novel by the author Stephen King. It is the first film in the It series but the second adaptation following Tommy Lee Wallace’s 1990 miniseries. The story revolves around the seven children in Derry, Maine, who are terrified by the eponymous being, Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
Did you know in the first chapter of the IT 2017 film, Pennywise isn’t dead? Yeah, pretty sure you saw the scene where Pennywise was shot in the head and beaten to death and eventually disappeared down a hole in the ground, but nope, he’s not yet dead. If you were patient enough to stick around the movie until the credits, then you would know that right at the end, some weird creepy kids’ show appears and you can hear the evil laugh of Pennywise. He’s not dead and he actually returned in a sequel to the movie to ruin the lives of the kids all over again.
