Quiet Riot

Cum on, feel the noize - the man can suck it, Quiet Riot is on the scene. This epic 80s metal band covered the 1973 Slade hit of the same name and became the voice of a generation of dudes with mullets. Their debut album featuring their eponymous hit, Mental Health, was the first heavy metal record to reach number one on the US charts. Later that year, Quiet Riot opened for ZZ Top before touring with Black Sabbath. However, after one too many drunken incidents, the group fired founding member Kevin DuBrow. The ending for this story is not a sad one though - the band has reformed and released an album, albeit without all founding members.
