Spinal Tap
Keep calm and go to eleven. Also known as Spın̈al Tap, Spinal Tap is known for being a band which mocks the serious style from many heavy metal groups. Amusingly enough, the group was first featured in a television comedy series called The T.V. Show with Rob Reiner. Over the years, fans have clamored together to find details about the band's amusing history. In 1984, a documentary film was released about the band's fictional history, called This Is Spinal Tap. The actors from the film have also performed the band's music for various concerts and tours in the UNited States. Actor Michael McKean plays David St. Hubbins, the lead vocalist, while Christopher Guest plays Nigel Tufnel, who also plays lead guitar, bass guitar, and violin. In 1967, actor Harry Shearer portrayed Derek Smalls, the bass guitarist, and later C. J. Vanston joined as "Caucasian" Jeffery Vanston. The group also released the album Break Like the Wind in 1992, followed by Back from the Dead in 2009.
