The Fellowship who sought to stop him is represented by the remaining free people of Middle Earth: men, elves, dwarves, and hobbits – a race who loved the quiet and simple life but will never be the same again after four of its sons decide to leave the comfort of their home called the Shire and do good for the rest of the world.
Did you know that in the Two Towers and Return of the King, the riders were actually women in beards? A number of riders were actually women outfitted with fake beards. New Zealand has a good number of women riders and they were used as extras in the film.
