It: Chapter Two is a 2019 American horror film and a sequel to the 2017 It film. Both chapters are based on the 1986 novel by Stephen King of the same title. It: Chapter Two is set in 2016, or 27 years after the events of the first film and it is the second installment of the It film series. The story follows the lives of the Losers Club reuniting from their various lives. Although they have been apart for a very long time, they have never forgotten the terror that they experienced together 27 years ago from Pennywise the dancing clown.
Did you know that the actress who played Eddie’s mom also played his wife? Yup, the casting department found a way to bring actress Molly Atkinson back for two roles in It and It: Chapter Two. In the first It movies, Molly played Sonia Kaspbrak, the controlling mother of Eddie. And in the second chapter of the movie, Molly was cast again as Myra, Eddie’s controlling wife.
