The story revolves around the life of a teenager named Marty McFly who was accidentally sent back to 1995 through a time-traveling DeLorean automobile built by his scientist friend Doc Emmett Brown. Since he was trapped in the past, Marty accidentally prevents his future parent’s meeting, thus threatening his very existence.
Did you know Michael J. Fox wasn’t supposed to play the role of Marty McFly? One of the film’s producers, Robert Zemeckis' first choice was Michael J. Fox to play the character of Marty McFly. However, Fox was already working on a sitcom called Family Ties and they wouldn’t release Fox to do Back to the Future.
