Where the Wild Things Are Moonlight Sail Youth Hoodie

This Moonlight Sail design comes from Where the Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak's picture book about a boy named Max who sails off to an island of monsters and becomes their king. Max, sent to bed without supper for making mischief in his wolf suit, watches a forest grow in his room and sails away to the land of the wild things. Spike Jonze adapted it as a feature film in 2009, giving the Wild Things names for the first time, including Carol, voiced by James Gandolfini.

Maurice Sendak both wrote and illustrated it. Spike Jonze directed the 2009 film adaptation. This one is printed on a black youth hoodie in sizes Youth S through Youth XL.
