This Character Art design comes from Under the Dome, the series that dropped an invisible barrier over a small Maine town and left everyone inside to sort it out. The premise is a pure pressure cooker: an invisible, impenetrable dome drops over Chester Mill, Maine, cutting the town off completely. Nobody knows where it came from, nothing gets in or out, and the people inside have to work out how to live. It ran three seasons on CBS and remains one of the more ambitious swings a broadcast network took at serialised science fiction in that era.

Brian K. Vaughan, the comics writer behind Y: The Last Man and Saga, developed the series for television. It ran three seasons, which is longer than most high-concept network science fiction manages.
