Trick 'r Treat Sucker T-Shirt

This Sucker design comes from Trick 'r Treat, the 2007 anthology that treats the rules of Halloween as binding law and kills the people who break them. The four rules the film builds on are simple enough to print on a shirt, which is exactly what Trevco did here: always wear a costume, always hand out treats, never blow out a jack o lantern, and always check your candy. Warner Premiere shelved it. Despite strong festival response the film never got a real theatrical release and went straight to home video in 2009, which is why a movie many people call a modern Halloween staple made almost nothing on first release.

The jack o lantern rule matters: blowing one out early is what brings Sam to your door. Michael Dougherty had co-written X2 and Superman Returns before this, then went on to direct Krampus and Godzilla King of the Monsters. This one is printed on a black unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 6XL. Grab it for yourself or for the friend who still checks the candy.
