The L Word Looking Very Shane Today Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Looking Very Shane Today design comes from The L Word, the Showtime drama that spent six seasons on a circle of friends in West Hollywood whose lives would not stop overlapping. It is set in West Hollywood and follows a circle of friends whose lives overlap constantly — which is the joke behind the Chart, the hand-drawn map of who has been with whom that Alice maintains and that the show treats as serious research. Showtime followed it with The Real L Word, an unscripted series that ran from 2010 to 2012 and followed actual women in Los Angeles and Brooklyn, trading the soap plotting for documentary.

The Chart is the hand-drawn diagram tracking who in the friend group has been involved with whom, and it is one of the few pieces of in-universe paperwork to become a merchandise design in its own right.
