The Goonies Sloth Hey You Guys Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Sloth Hey You Guys design comes from The Goonies, the 1985 film in which a group of kids from Astoria, Oregon go looking for pirate treasure to stop the bank taking their houses. Donner kept the young cast together for much of the shoot and let them talk over each other, which is why the dialogue sounds like actual children rather than written children. Several scenes were filmed with the cast seeing the set for the first time on camera. The Goonies was released in 1985, directed by Richard Donner from a story by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by Chris Columbus. It is a treasure hunt film built around the specific logic of being twelve: the stakes are losing your house, and the solution is obviously a pirate map.

The film was shot in Astoria, Oregon, and the Walsh house is still a tourist destination there decades later. Sloth was played by John Matuszak, a former professional American footballer, under prosthetics that took several hours to apply each day.
