The Batman The Riddler Crewneck Sweatshirt

This The Riddler design comes from The Batman, the 2022 film that dropped the origin story entirely and played Gotham as a rain-soaked detective picture. Michael Giacchino score is built on a four-note motif that repeats obsessively, and it does much of the work of making a familiar character feel like a threat again. The approach is detective fiction rather than superhero spectacle. The Riddler leaves ciphers at crime scenes, Batman actually investigates them, and the film is closer to Zodiac than to anything in a cape.

Greig Fraser shot Gotham almost entirely in rain and low light, and the red-and-black palette carries straight through to the merchandise. Colin Farrell plays the Penguin under extensive prosthetics, to the point that most of the audience did not recognise him. This one is printed on a black unisex sweatshirt in sizes S through 3XL.
