Description
This South Pacific design comes from Survivor, the show that dropped strangers on a beach in 2000 and more or less invented the modern reality competition. Survivor premiered on CBS in May 2000, adapted from the Swedish format Expedition Robinson, and its first season finale drew more than fifty million viewers in the United States. Very little on television has managed that since. Each season gets its own location and its own logo, and those logos are the reason a Survivor shirt works: Borneo, Africa, Thailand, Pearl Islands, All-Stars, Palau, Guatemala, Panama, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, Gabon, Tocantins, Samoa, Heroes vs Villains, Redemption Island, South Pacific, Worlds Apart.
The jury is made up of the players already voted out, which means the winner is chosen by the people they beat — a design decision that drives nearly all of the strategy. Every season gets a bespoke logo built around its location, which is why the season marks work so well as standalone designs. This one is printed on a silver unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
