This Silhouettes design comes from Supernatural, fifteen seasons of two brothers, one 1967 Impala, and every monster American folklore could supply. Supernatural premiered on The WB in 2005, created by Eric Kripke, and ran fifteen seasons to 2020 — the longest-running American live-action fantasy series ever broadcast. Kripke originally pitched it as a five-season story, and the five seasons he planned are still widely treated as the spine of it. Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, drive across the country in a 1967 Chevrolet Impala hunting whatever their father was hunting. The show calls this the family business, and it means that literally: the job is inherited and nobody gets to quit.

Misha Collins was originally hired for a short arc as Castiel. The character stayed for twelve seasons.
