This House Logo design comes from Poltergeist II: The Other Side, the 1986 sequel that followed the Freelings out of the suburbs and gave the haunting a face. Julian Beck played Kane, and his performance is the reason the film is remembered. Gaunt, courteous and utterly wrong, he does more damage walking slowly up a driveway than most horror villains manage with a weapon.

Julian Beck was terminally ill during filming and died before the film was released. Whatever unease his Reverend Kane creates on screen, none of it is makeup.
