Play-Doh Dry Out Pullover Hoodie

This Dry Out design comes from Play-Doh, the squishy yellow can of primary-coloured compound that started life as a wallpaper cleaner and ended up in the National Toy Hall of Fame. Play-Doh was not invented as a toy. It started in the 1930s as a putty sold by the Kutol company in Cincinnati for cleaning soot off wallpaper, and it only became a childrens product in the mid-1950s when coal heating went out of fashion and the business needed a second act.

The smell is a registered trademark. Hasbro formally trademarked the Play-Doh scent in 2018, describing it as a sweet, slightly musky vanilla fragrance with overtones of cherry and a salted-dough base.
