Description
This Knowledge Is Freedom design comes from Miles Davis, the trumpeter who reinvented jazz roughly every five years and never once looked back to check whether anyone had followed him. Miles Davis went to Juilliard in 1944 and left almost immediately to play with Charlie Parker, which tells you most of what you need to know about how he approached authority. He spent the next forty years doing the same thing to jazz itself.
Kind of Blue was recorded largely without written arrangements. Davis brought modal sketches to the session and the band, including Coltrane and Bill Evans, worked it out on the spot — much of the album is first takes. This one is printed on a charcoal unisex sweatshirt in sizes S through 3XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
