Chevy 2ND Gen Vette Logo Womens T-Shirt

This 2ND Gen Vette Logo design comes from Chevrolet, the marque that put the bowtie on more American driveways than any other. The Corvette began in 1953 as a show car with a fibreglass body, a shape chosen partly because steel tooling for a low-volume car could not be justified. Nobody agrees where the bowtie came from. Durant said he tore it from wallpaper in a Paris hotel; his daughter said he sketched it at dinner; another account traces it to a newspaper advertisement for a coal company.

Chevrolet was founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant. The 1953 Corvette used a fibreglass body because steel tooling could not be justified. This one is printed on a red womens t-shirt in sizes S through 2XL.
