Chevy 2ND Gen Vette Logo Pullover Hoodie

This 2ND Gen Vette Logo design comes from Chevrolet, the marque that put the bowtie on more American driveways than any other. The Corvette began in 1953 as a show car with a fibreglass body, a shape chosen partly because steel tooling for a low-volume car could not be justified. Nobody agrees where the bowtie came from. Durant said he tore it from wallpaper in a Paris hotel; his daughter said he sketched it at dinner; another account traces it to a newspaper advertisement for a coal company.

Chevrolet was founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant. The 1953 Corvette used a fibreglass body because steel tooling could not be justified. This one is printed on a red unisex sweatshirt in sizes S through 3XL.
