This To the Candy Castle White design comes from Candy Land, the colour-matching race to the Candy Castle that has been many children's first board game since 1949. Players race along a rainbow path past landmarks such as the Gumdrop Mountains, the Peppermint Forest and the Molasses Swamp to reach the Candy Castle. Because it needs no reading and no strategy, only matching colours, it became one of the most common first board games for young children.
