Betty Boop Pop Star Youth Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Pop Star design comes from Betty Boop, the Jazz Age cartoon star who has outlived nearly every character she shared a screen with. She returned in black and white for a cameo in Who Framed Roger Rabbit in 1988, playing a star whose era had passed. Max Fleischer patented the rotoscope in 1915, and the studio used it to put live performance into animation decades before anyone called it motion capture.

She was originally drawn as a dog, and her ears became her hoop earrings. Cab Calloway was rotoscoped into several of the cartoons. This one is printed on a black youth long sleeve t-shirt in sizes Youth S through Youth XL.
