Betty Boop Hollywood Legend Pullover Hoodie

This Hollywood Legend design comes from Betty Boop, the Jazz Age cartoon star who has outlived nearly every character she shared a screen with. The Hays Code caught up with the series in 1934 and the studio was made to lengthen her hemline and tone the shorts down; fans have argued ever since that it took the life out of them. Betty Boop was created at Max Fleischer's studio and first appeared on 9 August 1930 in the short Dizzy Dishes, animated by Grim Natwick.

She was originally drawn as a dog, and her ears became her hoop earrings. Cab Calloway was rotoscoped into several of the cartoons. This one is printed on a pink unisex sweatshirt in sizes S through 3XL.
