Adult Swim is Cartoon Networks late night "adult themed" block of cartoons and is incredibly popular with college kids, young adults, and people who do a lot of cannabis. It reaches over 94 million homes and includes some amazing original shows such as Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, Tim & Eric, and Squidbillies. It also features a lot of great syndicated shows such as Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, and American Dad!
The network was conceived of, created by, and is still run by the great Mike Lazzo. The very first original show was the great Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The network was known for premiering shows with no advanced warning (stealth premiers) and Sealab, Harvey Birdman, Aqua Team, and the Brak Show all just showed up one day. They were all from Williams Street studio which is owned by Mike Lazzo. Full circle.
