Kingdom of Desire, the eighth studio album by Toto, was launched in 1992. This release marked a significant change as guitarist Steve Lukather took on the role of the sole lead vocalist for the first time. Tragically, it also serves as the last album to showcase the incredible drumming skills of Jeff Porcaro, who passed away during the tour preparations for this record. Bob Clearmountain handled the mixing duties, and the album was dedicated to Jeff as a heartfelt tribute in his honor.
