This Zombie Evolution design is for the zombie, the only movie monster that started as folklore about labour and ended up as a running joke about crowds. That film fell into the public domain because the distributor changed the title and dropped the copyright notice from the prints, which is a large part of why the zombie became free for everyone to reuse. Zombie walks began as small organised gatherings in the early 2000s and turned into charity events, which is where designs like Walk Against Hunger come from.
