This Hot Head design comes from The Year Without a Santa Claus, the 1974 Rankin/Bass special that gave the world the Heat Miser and the Snow Miser and has been quoted every December since. The Year Without a Santa Claus aired on ABC in December 1974, made by Rankin/Bass in the stop-motion technique they called Animagic. Santa, feeling unappreciated and under the weather, decides to take the year off.

It was made in Animagic, the stop-motion process Rankin/Bass used for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus Is Comin to Town. This one is printed on a black unisex tank top in sizes S through 2XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
