Description
This Wild design comes from Where the Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak's picture book about a boy named Max who sails off to an island of monsters and becomes their king. Spike Jonze adapted it as a feature film in 2009, giving the Wild Things names for the first time, including Carol, voiced by James Gandolfini. The book won the Caldecott Medal in 1964 and has remained one of the best-known picture books ever published.
Spike Jonze directed the 2009 film adaptation. Max tames the Wild Things by staring into their yellow eyes without blinking. This one is printed on a black youth hoodie in sizes Youth S through Youth XL.
