Description
This First to Fight design comes from the United States Marine Corps, founded on 10 November 1775 and carrying more nicknames, mottoes and hard-won traditions than almost any other branch. The Eagle, Globe and Anchor has been the Corps emblem since 1868 — the eagle for the nation, the globe for worldwide service, the anchor for the naval roots. It is one of the most recognisable insignia in American life and it has barely changed in over 150 years.
Devil Dogs is said to come from German troops at Belleau Wood in 1918, who supposedly called the attacking Marines Teufelshunde. Historians argue about the sourcing, but the Corps adopted the name and kept it. This one is printed on a military green unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL. Officially licensed and printed on heavyweight cotton, made to hold up to actual wear.
