Twin Peaks Donut Log Pie T-Shirt

This Donut Log Pie design comes from Twin Peaks, the show that asked who killed Laura Palmer and then spent two seasons proving that was never really the question. Lynch returned to it twice: the 1992 film Fire Walk with Me, which was booed at Cannes and is now widely regarded as one of his best, and Twin Peaks: The Return in 2017, eighteen years later to the week in story time. Kyle MacLachlan plays Special Agent Dale Cooper, who investigates a murder while being sincerely delighted by pie, coffee and Douglas firs. That combination — procedural structure, absolute sincerity, deep weirdness — is the thing nobody had put on network television before.

One Eyed Jacks is the casino and brothel just across the Canadian border, and its neon sign is one of the most recognisable images from the series. The town sign reads Population 51,201, which is a joke about how implausibly large that is for somewhere with one diner everybody goes to.
