This Terrorcon Logo design comes from Transformers, the 1984 cartoon built to sell a toy line that accidentally produced one of the most durable science fiction properties on television. Transformers began in 1984 as a Hasbro toy line with a cartoon attached to sell it. The cartoon outgrew the assignment almost immediately, and forty years later the Autobot and Decepticon insignia are recognised by people who never owned a single toy.
