Transformers Optimus Prime Panel Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Optimus Prime Panel design comes from Transformers, the 1984 cartoon built to sell a toy line that accidentally produced one of the most durable science fiction properties on television. The premise is simple enough to survive any retelling: two factions of alien robots, both able to disguise themselves as vehicles, continuing their war on Earth. The toys came first. Hasbro imported two existing Japanese toy lines, Diaclone and Micro Change, and commissioned Marvel to invent the characters and backstory around the moulds that already existed.
