Tootsie Roll How I Love T-Shirt

This How I Love design comes from Tootsie Roll, the chocolate chew that has been made since 1896. Tootsie Rolls were included in American military rations because they held their shape in heat far better than chocolate. Captain Tootsie was a comic-strip character used to advertise the candy in the 1940s and 1950s, appearing in ads drawn by C.C. Beck, who also drew Captain Marvel.
