Description
This Sketchy design comes from Tom and Jerry, the cat-and-mouse shorts Hanna and Barbera started at MGM in 1940, which won seven Academy Awards without either lead ever really speaking. Tom and Jerry began at MGM in 1940 with a short called Puss Gets the Boot, created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The studio was unconvinced until it was nominated for an Academy Award, at which point they wanted more immediately.
The first short, Puss Gets the Boot, called them Jasper and Jinx. The names Tom and Jerry came from a staff competition after the studio realised it had a hit. This one is printed on a carolina blue youth t-shirt in sizes Youth S through Toddler 3T. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
