The Three Stooges Grumpy Moe Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Grumpy Moe design comes from The Three Stooges, the slapstick act that ran for more than twenty years of shorts and never once ran out of ways to hit each other. The Three Stooges made 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959, the longest run of any comedy short series in Hollywood history. Columbia kept them on one-year contracts the entire time and never told them how profitable they were. Curly suffered a stroke in 1946 and was replaced by a third Howard brother, Shemp, who had actually been in the act first. Later shorts used Joe Besser and Joe DeRita, but the Moe, Larry and Curly line-up is the one that endures.

You Nazty Spy! from 1940 satirised Hitler months before The Great Dictator, and the fictional country in it is Moronica.
