The Smurfs Blue, Blonde and Proud Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Blue, Blonde and Proud design comes from The Smurfs, the small blue villagers Belgian cartoonist Peyo invented in 1958 and who have since survived comics, Saturday mornings and several feature films. Visually they could not be simpler: a blue body, a white cap, three apples tall. That simplicity is exactly why the designs survive being printed flat at any size.

Smurfette was not originally one of them. Gargamel created her from clay as a trap, and only later did Papa Smurf transform her into a real Smurf.
