The Lost Boys Michael David Star Creeper

This Michael David Star design comes from The Lost Boys, the 1987 film that made vampirism look like the best possible outcome for a bored teenager in a California beach town. Corey Haim and Jason Patric play the brothers, and Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander are the Frog brothers, comic book obsessives who have read enough horror to know exactly what is going on and are treated as idiots for it. It arrived the same year as Near Dark and effectively split the eighties vampire film in two directions. The Lost Boys took the fun one, and everything from Buffy onward owes it something.

Kiefer Sutherland plays David with almost no explained motivation, which is precisely why the character works as a recruiter. The tagline is sleep all day, party all night, never grow old, never die — it is fun to be a vampire, and it is printed on more merchandise than any image from the film.
