The L Word Cast T-Shirt

This Cast design comes from The L Word, the Showtime drama that spent six seasons on a circle of friends in West Hollywood whose lives would not stop overlapping. The L Word premiered on Showtime in 2004 and ran six seasons, created by Ilene Chaiken, Michele Abbott and Kathy Greenberg. It was the first American drama built entirely around a group of lesbian and bisexual women, and for most of its run it was the only one. Its cultural weight came less from the writing than from simple existence: for a lot of viewers in the mid 2000s it was the first time they had seen these lives treated as ordinary material for a prime-time drama.

The L Word: Generation Q revived the story in 2019 with several original cast members returning after a ten year gap. The Real L Word was the unscripted companion series, running on Showtime from 2010 to 2012 with real women rather than actors. This one is printed on a silver unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL.
