The Hobbit Gloin Poster Youth/Toddler T-Shirt

This Gloin Poster design comes from The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth, which turned a short children's book into three very long films. Guillermo del Toro developed it for two years and was to direct, then left when the schedule slipped past what he could commit to. Jackson took over having already designed much of it around someone else's vision, which is part of why the trilogy feels different from the first three films. The Hobbit trilogy ran from 2012 to 2014, directed by Peter Jackson, and it stretched a book of roughly three hundred pages into about eight hours of film. An Unexpected Journey came first, then The Desolation of Smaug, then The Battle of the Five Armies.

Tauriel does not exist in the book. She was created for the films and played by Evangeline Lilly.
