This The Door design comes from The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth, which turned a short children's book into three very long films. The Hobbit trilogy ran from 2012 to 2014, directed by Peter Jackson, and it stretched a book of roughly three hundred pages into about eight hours of film. An Unexpected Journey came first, then The Desolation of Smaug, then The Battle of the Five Armies.
