The Hobbit Marching Tank Top

This Marching design comes from The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth, which turned a short children's book into three very long films. The Hobbit trilogy ran from 2012 to 2014, directed by Peter Jackson, and it stretched a book of roughly three hundred pages into about eight hours of film. An Unexpected Journey came first, then The Desolation of Smaug, then The Battle of the Five Armies. Smaug is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch through motion capture, and the dragon is the most technically impressive creature in either trilogy. Tauriel, played by Evangeline Lilly, does not appear in the book at all and was written for the films.

A book of about three hundred pages became roughly eight hours of film across three releases. Andy Serkis returned as Gollum for the riddles-in-the-dark scene and also served as second unit director.
