Description
This Hobbit & Company design comes from The Hobbit, Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth, which turned a short children's book into three very long films. It was shot at 48 frames per second rather than the standard 24, a format Jackson championed and audiences largely disliked — it made elaborate sets look like television. Very few films have used it since. Smaug is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch through motion capture, and the dragon is the most technically impressive creature in either trilogy. Tauriel, played by Evangeline Lilly, does not appear in the book at all and was written for the films.
Smaug is performed by Benedict Cumberbatch through motion capture, and he also voices the Necromancer. They were shot at 48 frames per second instead of 24, a format that divided audiences and has barely been used since. This one is printed on a navy unisex long sleeve t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL. A good pick for anyone whose favourite dwarf is not one of the famous ones.
