The Goonies Hey You Guys Crewneck Sweatshirt

This Hey You Guys design comes from The Goonies, the 1985 film in which a group of kids from Astoria, Oregon go looking for pirate treasure to stop the bank taking their houses. It underperformed against expectations on release and then became a permanent fixture through television and home video, which is the same path The Wizard of Oz took fifty years earlier. It was shot largely in Astoria, Oregon, and the town has never stopped trading on it. The house used for the Walsh family is still a landmark, and the film is why a lot of people can place Astoria on a map at all.

Steven Spielberg wrote the story and Chris Columbus the screenplay, four years before Columbus went on to direct Home Alone. The cast were kept largely unaware of some set reveals so their reactions on camera would be real, including the first sight of the pirate ship.
