Description
This Red Collage design comes from The Exorcist, the 1973 film that convinced a large part of the moviegoing public that it had made a serious mistake buying a ticket. Max von Sydow was forty four when he played the elderly Father Merrin, buried under hours of aging makeup. Jason Miller, who plays the doubting Father Karras, was a playwright who had just won a Pulitzer and had barely acted on film. The Exorcist was released in December 1973, directed by William Friedkin from William Peter Blatty adapted screenplay of his own novel, and it did something no horror film had managed before: it was taken seriously. It drew ten Academy Award nominations and won two, for Adapted Screenplay and for Sound, and it was the first horror film ever nominated for Best Picture.
Friedkin chilled the bedroom set so the breath would fog on camera, and the cast wore coats between takes. The Ouija board entity Regan calls Captain Howdy is how the possession starts, which makes a childs toy the inciting object of the whole film. This one is printed on a black unisex tank top in sizes S through 2XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
