The Batman Gotham Hero on Black Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Gotham Hero on Black design comes from The Batman, the 2022 film that dropped the origin story entirely and played Gotham as a rain-soaked detective picture. Vengeance is the word the film turns over most: it opens as Batman self-description and ends with him deciding it was the wrong answer. The approach is detective fiction rather than superhero spectacle. The Riddler leaves ciphers at crime scenes, Batman actually investigates them, and the film is closer to Zodiac than to anything in a cape.

Greig Fraser shot Gotham almost entirely in rain and low light, and the red-and-black palette carries straight through to the merchandise.
