The Batman Joker Storm on Black Pullover Hoodie

This Joker Storm on Black design comes from The Batman, the 2022 film that dropped the origin story entirely and played Gotham as a rain-soaked detective picture. Michael Giacchino score is built on a four-note motif that repeats obsessively, and it does much of the work of making a familiar character feel like a threat again. The Batman arrived in 2022, directed by Matt Reeves, with Robert Pattinson as a Bruce Wayne only two years into the job and visibly bad at the public half of it. It skips the origin completely, which almost no Batman film had been willing to do.

Colin Farrell plays the Penguin under extensive prosthetics, to the point that most of the audience did not recognise him. Greig Fraser shot Gotham almost entirely in rain and low light, and the red-and-black palette carries straight through to the merchandise.
