Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Merry Christmas From Our Sewer Youth Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This Merry Christmas From Our Sewer design comes from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, four pizza-obsessed reptiles who started as a black-and-white comic parody and became the most merchandised cartoon of the 1980s. Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird self-published the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic in 1984 as a parody of the gritty Marvel books of the era. It was black and white, all four turtles wore red, and it was meant as a joke.

In the original Mirage comic all four turtles wore red bandanas. The colour coding — blue, red, orange and purple — was invented for the 1987 cartoon so that viewers and toy buyers could tell them apart. This one is printed on a red youth long sleeve t-shirt in sizes Youth S through Youth XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
