Teen Wolf Rockin Wolf T-Shirt

This Rockin Wolf design comes from Teen Wolf, the 1985 film in which a high schooler discovers his family turns into werewolves and immediately uses it to get good at basketball. The eighties design language is doing a lot of work here: neon script, airbrushed moons, hot pink and teal. That is why the merchandise reads as period even when the film is not in frame. Its premise is the opposite of a horror film. Scott becomes a werewolf and the town loves him for it — he becomes a basketball star and a minor celebrity, and the plot is about whether he would rather be popular as the wolf or ordinary as himself.

The basketball sequences are played as a straight sports movie, which is why the final game works despite the premise. Jerry Levine plays Stiles, whose name was later reused for a completely different character in the MTV series. This one is printed on a silver unisex t-shirt in sizes S through 3XL.
