Description
This Driver Picks the Music design comes from Supernatural, fifteen seasons of two brothers, one 1967 Impala, and every monster American folklore could supply. The early seasons work through American folklore one episode at a time — wendigos, hook men, vengeful spirits, a killer truck. Salt, iron and a devil trap painted on the floor are the tools, and the rules stay consistent enough that the audience can see a solution coming. Supernatural premiered on The WB in 2005, created by Eric Kripke, and ran fifteen seasons to 2020 — the longest-running American live-action fantasy series ever broadcast. Kripke originally pitched it as a five-season story, and the five seasons he planned are still widely treated as the spine of it.
The Impala is a 1967 Chevrolet, and Eric Kripke has said the car was as important to the pitch as either brother. Several were used in filming and one is kept largely intact for close work. Dean rule for road trips is that the driver picks the music and shotgun shuts his cakehole, which is both a joke and the reason the soundtrack is wall-to-wall classic rock. This one is printed on a black unisex v-neck t-shirt in sizes S through 2XL. Sizes run deep, with plus sizes and Tall fits on the core tee.
