This Saving People Hunting Things design comes from Supernatural, fifteen seasons of two brothers, one 1967 Impala, and every monster American folklore could supply. Its fandom kept the series on air well past the point the ratings alone would have, and the show returned the favour by writing them in — conventions, fan fiction and an in-universe book series about the brothers all became plot.
