Description
This Bleeding Shield Navy design comes from Superman, the character who invented the superhero in 1938 and has never really stopped being the argument about what one should be. Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1 in 1938, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, two teenagers from Cleveland who sold the character outright for 130 dollars. Kryptonite was invented for the radio serial, not the comics, and one story has it that the writers needed a way to give the actor a holiday.
Superman debuted in Action Comics #1 in 1938. In the earliest stories Superman leapt rather than flew. This one is printed on a navy unisex sweatshirt in sizes S through 3XL.
